Budureasca

Budureasca is a winery located in Southern Romania’s Dealu Mare DOC region. The vineyard covers an area of 275 hectares (680 acres). And it is one of the largest producers from the Dealu Mare Vineyard. The avant-garde architecture and the investment in production technology made Budureasca one of the most modern wineries in Romania. The Budureasca wines are expressive, pleasant and well-balanced – reflecting the charm and character of the distinctive grapes growing of this terroir.

The winery produces an impressive range of variety appealing to different wine lovers and tastes. The wines are enjoyed by young adults “thirsty” for new wonders to connoisseurs with discriminating palates, well-informed opinion, and passionate preferences.

Although Budureasca is known as a reference for comparison among Romanian wines, the brand is historically renowned as an homage to the traditions, legends, and terroir. This is why the logo is based on the image of the Dacian king Decebal (85-106 A.D.). Also, “The Vine in Flames” brand reflects on a historical moment during the rule of the first Dacian King Burebista (82-44 B.C.), 2,000+ years ago, when the vineyards were burned because they were considered a “temptation” for invaders – so wonderful was the wine made from those grapes.
