Located in the Drăgăşani DOC region of Southwestern Romania, the AVINCIS Winery revives the tradition of Drăgăşani viticulture and winemaking. The Drăgăşani DOC is among the oldest vineyards of both Romania and Oltenia, and more importantly, it is the birthplace of famous grape varieties like Novac, Negru of Drăgăşani or Crâmpoşie.

The AVINCIS story begins in 1927 when Maria and Iancu Râmniceanu, appointed officer of the Romanian army by Ionel Brătianu, purchased a magnificent Neo-Romanian style manor surrounded by vineyards. In 2007, their great-granddaughter, Cristiana, together with her husband, Valeriu Stoica, returned to the family estate and rediscovered the merit of the vineyards, wines, and traditions of Drăgăşani.

AVINCIS40 hectares produces expressive wines that recommend the excellent typicity of Drăgăşani vineyards.
