Cuvée Guy de Poix is the wine named after the founder of the winery, directly involved in the rebirth of Fetească Neagră, after the fall of communism in 1989. The wine is made only of Fetească Neagră and only in the good years of Dealu Mare DOC. The Cuvée is characterized by a deep ruby color and has a nose of plum jam, cinnamon, and vanilla. The body of the wine is robust, well-balanced and smooth with aromas of blueberry and blackcurrant, having final notes of wood and tobacco in the aftertaste. It is recommended to decant the wine for at least one hour before consumption.
Serving temperature: 16-18°C (61-64°F).
Food pairing: pork sirloin in red sauce, beef goulash, rib eye steak or with any food you like.
