Nedeea stands out as, perhaps, the only Romanian wine made from local varieties only. The wine is made from Fetească Neagră, alongside with two local varieties from Mehedinţi DOC: Negru de Drăgăşani and Novac. Its color is medium ruby and has a nose of black cherry, plums, and cloves. On the tongue, the wine feels full-bodied, well-balanced, with a smooth texture, due to a period of about 6 months spend in barriques. The aftertaste is medium, with final notes of berries (blackberries, blueberries) and spices (black pepper). It is recommended to decant the wine for a period of 30 minutes before consumption.

Food pairing: Brie or Camembert cheese, leek pie, wild boar stew with polenta or with any food you like.
