Fetească Neagră, a pure Romanian grape variety, present in all the wine regions of our country, is renowned in the terroir of Miniş DOC for achieving outstanding wines. Feteasca Neagră from the Stonewine range has a pale garnet color and a predominant nose of ripe sour cherry and blackcurrant. On the palate, the wine feels robust and smooth as a result of a two years ageing period in barriques. The main aromas are of blackberry, dark chocolate and vanilla. The aftertaste is long with final mineral notes, due to the granite soil. It is recommended to decant the wine for at least two hours before consumption.
Serving temperature: 16-18°C (61-64°F).
Food pairing: veal stew, pork dishes in red sauce or with any food you like.
